TOUR INFO
ABOUT: Quepos, which is known as the fishing capital of Costa Rica, has a long standing history of being the go-to destination for offshore and inshore anglers. And is only getting more popular because of the brand new Pez Vela Marina. Average run times are between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours depending on the destination. FADs trips typically require an overnight run.
TARGET SPECIES: Our target species here are typically sailfish and blue marlin. Black Marlin, Tuna, dorado, and wahoo can often be caught as well.
FISHING SEASON: Offshore fishing is truly year round with transitional months being May-August. Our high season is Dec-April. Sept-Oct are still great fishing for blue marlin, tuna, and mahi but you may fight the chance of an afternoon rain storm.
Offshore day trips, as well of multi-day FADs/Seamount trips available.
Caribsea
