Kayak fishing playas del coco, Costa Rica
The water outside Playas del Coco is undoubtedly our favorite in the country. While we enjoy a peak season between Feb-May, we enjoy fishing this area year round. If you are visiting the area and want to get out and try an all new fishing experience, we have the tour for you!
TARGET SPECIES: Jacks, roosterfish, yellowfin tuna and more. Hookups with grouper and cubera snapper on artificial is common.
TOUR INFO
All kayak tours are done via a tandem kayak with your guide in the back and the angler in the front.
For groups of 2 or more anglers two guides are needed. In this case, 2 anglers will go with the guides and the other 2 will follow closely in two single kayaks.
Lunch, snacks, and drinks are included.
All conventional fishing tackle like rods, reels, lures, are included in the tour.
We prefer fishing with artificial lures or jigs but can do live bait upon request.
